My enthusiasm for Nordic Pole Walking cannot be overstated. As you know, I am 67 years old and began Pole Walking about 8 weeks ago. Within days noticed increased energy, deeper sleep and a constant general feeling of well being.
Rather than tapering off, the results have become more and more magnified. Because of a skiing accident about 12 years ago, I had a noticeable limp on the right side. This is disappearing because of the balanced exercise afforded by pole walking. Stomach muscles have tightened up etc.
My posture is noticeably more upright; my breathing has improved; my years younger. We believe that Nordic Pole Walking will revolutionize the Canadian Health system.
It is inexpensive, can be done anywhere by anyone, does not require any special clothing, is easy to learn, can be social or not depending on one’s preference and the health benefits are almost instantly noticeable.
